My Story
HI Everyone, welcome to my story!
My name is Jannessa, I am originally from Nampa, Idaho, but I grew up here in Juneau, Alaska, and it has been my home for more than 30 years. Currently, I work for the State of Alaska, and dabble greatly in my Scentsy business.
In my free time, I hang out with my significant other, my kiddo's, friends and family. My boys are ages 16 and 12, and my daughter is also 16. In addition to my life with friends and family, I enjoy buying and sharing Scentsy.
In August of 2012, After only two months of learning about Scentsy, I decided that I should become a consultant. I fell in love with the washer whiffs and dryer disks, and I figured if I was going to buy them long term I might as well try to save some money as well. I started as a hobbyist and quickly realized how much more the business helped me grow as a person, meet new people and how much i loved to travel. Scentsy has allowed me to see some incredible cities, states, and other Countries and I love everything about it. I originally joined as a consultant with the intent of purchasing my own products and didn't really have plans to promote a business, other than just to friends and family. That didn't last long though because the more I bought and used the products, the more excited I got. Within a couple months I promoted my title from essential consultant to lead consultant. This was exciting to me because I never really thought about moving up or doing anything more with the business. Now that I have promoted, I am inspired and excited to keep going and trying to achieve the next Scentsy step, as well as teach my team everything I have learned and help them as much as I can in the process.
